gold

>> Wednesday, June 30, 2010

I was waiting for our warehouse clerk earlier this morning; I have some clarifications and inquiries to make regarding the movement of one of our products. While waiting for her (she is busy with the documentations for the delivery), I was looking at the stacks of Tin Ingot in the warehouse. I was thinking, what if those ingots are turned in to gold ingots? It was such a nice view since the tin Ingots looked like silver ingots, but I bet it would be better if those were Gold. Gold has been a standard in determining wealth and purchasing power. It was even used as money in early times. Gold is a very good investment. If given a chance I would invest in different ways like to buy gold coins because it would never loose its value, in fact it appreciates rather than it depreciates. I pray that I may win the jackpot for the lottery on Thursday! The jackpot price could mean too many Gold Bullion investments. Truly men would never loose interest in Gold in fact it is very influential in the life of people even before the ancient times. So what are we waiting for, let us consider investing on gold bullions.

Simple Fixes for Common Zoysia Grass Problems

>> Friday, June 25, 2010

Zoysia grass is one of the easiest types of grass to plant and maintain. However, as with any type of grass that a person doesn't properly care for, there are some problems which can occur. Luckily, you can easily fix the most common zoysia grass problems once you correctly identify the issue.

Brown patches are common for all types of grass, and zoysia grass is no exception. However, there is a simple fix to this problem. If you make sure you fertilize the grass at the proper time and water it after the dew dries in the morning, you should have no problems with brown patches. Using a quality fungicide every once in awhile will also help keep your zoysia grass healthy and green.

Rusted-colored zoysia grass occurs when the conditions are moist and cool. The grass gets an orange appearance, and there seems to be a powdery substance that covers the grass. In order to solve this problem, all you have to do is collect the grass clippings after mowing. This allows the grass to grow out of the problem without getting re-infected.

Leaf spots occur during the spring and autumn months when there are warm days and cool nights. This can cause dry conditions, which can cause problems with any type of grass. Lack of fertilization adds to this problem. You can tell if your zoysia grass has leaf spots by the small lesions on the grass blades. Sometimes the lesions may be so small that a close inspection is necessary to see them. In order to solve this problem, simply apply fertilizer to the grassy areas and water the grass well at least once each week.

Zoysia grass has fewer problems than most other types of grass. Knowing what causes the few problems that occur and understanding how to fix them makes zoysia grass one of the best ones to plant.

to invest... soon

>> Wednesday, June 16, 2010

A friend told me that she's into a new investment stint, and she is hoping that I might be interested too. You see, she told me that I can invest and buy gold coins and see how my investment grow as time goes by! She even told me that there are so many people nowadays doing this buying of gold since it has been long way back proven that this precious doesn't lose value whatever happens to the economy, so that's make this untouchable from all the downfall and the likes of money and buying power and all.
Anyways, if money (my buying power) is not a problem, I'd definitely grab this chance to invest and buy.. unfortunately, I don't think my savings is enough to buy even a single piece, so I'm looking a investing in another months to come.. when budget wouldn't be a problem at all! :D

mom's day - super late post

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
~Washington Irving

I want to greet the all the mothers in the world a Happy Mother's Day. I was once said that the essence of being a woman is being a mother. True to the word, Our moms has given us all the unconditional love that she can give. She radiates love that is felt in every corner of our house. My mom is the source of my strength, the wind beneath my wings. I love you mom yesterday, today, tomorrow and for the rest of my life.

With This Ring

>> Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Four thousand years ago in the Mesopotamian cities of Akkad and Sumur, jewelry had become the new big thing. Artifacts from the time include lots of jewelry made primarily from of gold. Six thousand years later, jewelry is still a big deal.

The most important piece of jewelry in today's world is the ring. Rings are symbols that carry different meanings. The most common symbolic ring is a band worn on the left ring finger to announce that the wearer is married. Western culture dictates that when a man proposes to a woman, he should offer her a ring as a symbol of the commitment that he promises to make to her. This is known as an engagement ring. At the time of marriage, a set of rings is exchanged, groom to bride and bride to groom, solemnizing the promises they make to each other.

While the real importance of the engagement and wedding rings is in the symbolism, much attention and planning goes into choosing a ring. Depending on the couple and their financial position, some opt for cheaper rings, while others often buy expensive rings with large diamonds.

Most engagement rings range in price from $600-$9,000. High-end jewelers often charge thousands more than that, and of course, there are many engagement rings that cost much less. Jewelry designers like Tacori fall in the more affordable, yet elegant part of the spectrum.

Socially speaking, an engagement ring is a mark of how much the bride is loved by her husband-to-be. It is important for many girls and women to have an "acceptable" engagement ring to wear. This may not be the healthiest mindset--the desire to show that she is loved more because her groom spent more money on her ring. However, a couple's display of love and commitment, signified by the rings they wear, is something that means more than the cost of jewelry.

Sports Betting: Make the Best Choices for High Returns

It's not always safe to gamble. Much of it depends on what you're gambling (or how much) and the actual level of risk that you're taking. When it comes to betting money on sporting events, there's a big difference between the small bets made between friends and around the water cooler at the office and the large bets that are placed. Some of these bets go into the thousands of dollars. Whether you're betting thousands or just a few dollars, you should know who to place your bet with. A bet between friends doesn't need any outside intervention, but bets that are actually placed based on odds and other factors have to be done through betting sites or individuals who are set up to handle larger bets.

Sports betting is very popular, so don't assume that you'll be the only person playing the odds. Football games, baseball games, horse races, dog races and all kinds of other sports have people betting on them all the time. Many people now do that online, because find it easier. They also often feel more secure, and they feel as though they don't have to reveal their betting or gambling habits to as many people that way. There is a sense of privacy that comes through betting online, and you wouldn't have that when walking into a betting parlor.

No matter how you decide to place your bet on a sporting event, make sure you remember this one rule: don't ever gamble more than you can afford to lose. Too many people think that they have a sure thing, so they bet much more than they should. When things don't go their way they can have trouble paying their bills or experience other financial problems. Betting on sports should be a fun way to possibly get some extra cash, not a danger to your finances.

Does Frontline Work?

Frontline, a dog medication for the elimination of and prevention of ticks and fleas, comes in both the Frontline Plus and Frontline Top Spot formulas, but both function in the same basic manner. The advertisements state that the medication "gets rid of fleas and ticks fast...and lasts!" This may be so, but why and how does it work to protect your pet?

The primary active ingredient in Frontline is an insecticide known as fipronil. Fipronil has been shown to effectively eliminate many different insects. It works by disrupting the central nervous system of any insect that gets the formula inside its system. When the nervous system is disrupted, chloride ions are blocked, and this causes the muscles of the insect to become super-excited, eventually leading to the death of the insect.

While fibronil claims to be a "slow working poison," the use of Frontline has shown to be effective very quickly, with fleas dying within 12 hours and ticks dying within 48 hours. This is due to the small size of these insects, meaning it takes less time for the chemical to kill them, and how quickly the Frontline medication spreads.

While Frontline is applied directly to the skin between the dog's shoulders, the fibronil quickly combines with the natural oils of the dog's body. The fleas and ticks are quickly contaminated by these essential oils. The insects don't have to bite your animal in order to be purged. Rather, merely being present in these fibronil rich oils will cause the insects to be eliminated.

Due to how quickly the formula works, the Frontline products also prevent fleas and ticks. Since these insects must settle in an area for no less than 24 hours before laying eggs, the fibronil, which eliminates them in under 12 hours, will prevent the laying of these new eggs.

Home Depot Coupon Codes

>> Monday, June 14, 2010

For most people, the concept of a coupon is quite simple. It's a discount that's accepted by certain stores as a substitute for money. While today coupons can be found online as eCoupons, there are still thousands of traditional paper coupons being used daily.

Let's say you need a lawn mower for the summer season and are able to spend several hundred dollars on the appliance. You visit Home Depot where you have a coupon for 20 percent off a purchase of more than $100. You hand the coupon to the cashier and he scans the coupon code.

You complete the buy and head home with your new lawn mower. But what happens to the coupon after its scanned?

Here's how a typical coupon's journey goes:

The coupon's first stop, which is part of a month-long journey, isn't very far. In the case of Home Depot, after scanning the Home Depot coupon codes, the cashiers place the coupons in their cash register until the end of the workday. Each day, the total monetary sum of the processed coupons is obtained. Then at the end of the week, the coupons take a much longer trip as they are sent to the store's corporate headquarters.

At the headquarters, a worker or several workers box the coupons and send them on yet another trip to a place called a clearinghouse. Workers at this location break the coupons down by manufacturer and then by whether or not the coupon code is able to be scanned. The coupons are again tallied, this time to determine the total worth of each manufacturer's coupons. When this is finished, the cataloged coupons and an invoice number are delivered to the manufacturer - the last leg of the coupon's journey. Finally, the individual stores are compensated for the amount of the coupons and the clearinghouse is compensated for its work
