Whaaaaat?!

>> Thursday, July 30, 2009

Got the copies of my airline booking, I would be on a 6 hours flight (it does not include the lay-over of 3 hours) on a Monday of the following month. The emotions are mixed. Sad because I'm leaving family and friends, Excited for what would be my life there, Nervous because it is my first time to be away for a very long time. When I got the airline booking, I finally said to myself, this is it, there's no more turning back. But what a coincidence, I'm sharing the same flight with my soon to be ex terror boss! I never imagined that he would be the last person from here that I would be seeing before I would leave! Wheew!

Mexican Get-away

>> Saturday, February 28, 2009

At the peak of my busiest days, I dreamed of lying in a beach bed having margarita along the coast line of Riviera Maya in Mexico. Feeling the warmth of the Mexican sun along the palm trees lined beaches before taking a dive at their multi colored coral reefs. How I wish I could be there in an instant. I was fascinated by the beaches of Mexico because I became a fan of famous Mexican Television Novelas during my younger days. I fell in love in their beaches while watching a wedding scene (I’m sorry I forgot the title). Karisma Resorts and Hotels have the collection of the white sand beaches of Riveira Maya. It offers the all inclusive mexico luxury among its beaches and hotels. Beaches are not the only thing that attracts visitors and tourist in the Maya Riviera. The gourmet food is also one of the reasons why you would wish to be there. They would provide for your cravings and indulgence but also they could prepare dishes based on your diet. Truly they give number one priority to the needs of their guests. Now I should go back to work to make my dream a reality.

Red Hot Luggage

>> Saturday, February 7, 2009

Traveling to our mother company in Japan and our other affiliate companies around the world is such a privilege. I envy my co-workers who traveled to SMIC several times. I remember one of the operators who went to Japan to undergo training of manual winding of solder wire. If I only knew it I applied for an operator rather than my position! Just joking of course! I hope boss would send me to a conference or training probably so I could use the privilege that the company is offering. But I think boss would like to see me every day and he doesn’t want me out of his sight. He would miss peeking at my monitor and looking if I am really working or just posting something at my blog. He thought I don’t know that! I caught him many times seeking at the back door of the president’s office and trying to get a glimpse of my desk from the glass window. Sorry for him, I don’t do that. When it comes to work, I work straight and all pure work! Okay I admit sometimes I take a peek, but it is just a peek (“,) never the less having a new Wheeled Carry On Luggage is something that runs into my mind. I happen to pass by this red luggage that I saw in a site last night while surfing the net. The site got a various styles to choose from, from luggage to Briefcases .But definitely this style caught my attention. Very elegant and sophisticated. I fell in love with the red colored Italian leather plus it comes with a push button locking handle system and durable skate wheels. It is very durable which I think should be the first consideration in buying a luggage so all your personal belongings is safe while traveling even your very sensitive gadgets like cameras and players. I hope boss would consider sending me for training if he would new that I got a new luggage. Hmm if he does that I would not mind buying a matching Carry-On Luggage

Banana Pie from Boss

>> Tuesday, January 13, 2009

My boss went home to Japan for his usual Christmas vacation. He also took the time to have his vaccination for flu. And of course the thing that is synonymous with his trip are the Omiyage (presents/souvenirs). Now he got us this cute banana pies. I asked why the hell are these called pie, but they looked more like biscuits, more similar to Cebu's otap. He just laughed off and shook his head so I just dropped off the argument. And before the cookies/pies arre distributed I manage to took some picture. The packaging is nice, I love it!
