The Anchorwoman Laura Diaz
>> Tuesday, February 17, 2009
On of the prominent faces in the news is Laura Diaz , Anchor of CBS. She is the pride of the Hispanic Community being an eight time Emmy Award winner. She holds an Emmy for 2006 Individual Achievement in Feature Reporting. CBS Anchor Laura Diaz also bags the back to back Golden Mike Awards in 2005 and 2006 for the best feature reporting. An in depth television interview last June 2005 with then incoming Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa gave her the National Imagen Award the following year. Her life as a journalist was full of historic and compelling stories; one being striking was when she and her camera crew were threatened at gunpoint while covering the Los Angeles riots. CBS Anchor Laura Diaz was a true picture of a success story. Coming from a family of farmers she was raised to become the now famous Laura Diaz Anchor of CBS. Having a big heart, Ms. Diaz sits on the advisory board of trustees of The Joyful Child Foundation started by Erin Runnion a famous children advocate. The foundation works to organize neighborhood watches around the country and keep child predators off the streets. Let us all support the advocacy of Anchor Laura Diaz Now. She is a true beautiful woman that possesses a much more beautiful heart.
